Michael Schenker is a legendary and brilliant guitarist. Michael is best known for his work as lead guitarist in UFO and for his solo band, the Michael Schenker Group. However before that he was a founding member of the Scorpions with his brother Rudolph. There is very little argument that he is one of the greatest hard rock and metal guitarists of all time.
Michael Schenker released "By Invitation Only" this month. It is an album of covers that Michael recorded with various guest musicians and vocalists. Unfortunately none of these recordings are new and have been released on other Michael Schenker releases or compilations. Since there is nothing new here to review or discuss I've decided to share with you a number of photographs I took of the Michael Schenker Group 30th anniversary tour performances in New York City in 2010. They feature Michael, Gary Barden and legendary drummer Carmine Appice. Enjoy.
